Humane Education Speakers: Chicago



Daniel Hauff – Daniel serves as Mercy For Animals’ Director of Investigations – working closely with attorneys, veterinarians and animal welfare experts to compile farmed animal cruelty cases, which have pressed for cruelty prosecutions, strengthened animal protection laws, and encouraged corporate policy changes. Through his work with leading animal protection organizations, Daniel has drafted a plethora of cruelty complaints on a broad range of animal issues, engaging law enforcement at the local, state, and federal levels. Daniel is regularly sought for humane education talks, and effective advocacy and media training, at universities and national conferences.

Kenny Torrella- Kenny serves as Mercy For Animals’ Chicago Campaign Coordinator – working closely with volunteers and interns to create and execute local campaigns that promote the protection of farmed animals. He has successfully managed and trained volunteers and interns on both campus- and city-wide levels, and has given humane education talks and effective advocacy workshops at a number of schools, colleges and community events in the Chicago area.
